Ben Conn Australian Grand Prix dressage rider & trainer Ben Conn is based on Australia's Gold Coast. He is also a qualified lawyer who holds a current Australian practice licence. Ben visits Europe annually to improve his riding & training methods. He has ridden under many leading dressage exponents including Isabell Werth, Hubertus Schmidt, Heiner Schiergen and Leonie Bramall.  In 2008 Ben imported some exciting young dressage horses from Germany. Levi (above), is a gorgeous tall black Oldenburger gelding by Lord Lancer. Royston Rockstar (right) is a stunning chestnut stallion by Real Diamond and is currently standing at stud on the Gold Coast. He successfully commenced his competitive debut in 2008, winning the Queensland Young Horse Championship and placing third in the Australian 4 year old Championship at Dressage With the Stars 2009. Ben uses EA Mattes products and is a strong supporter of SaddleFix Tape, Mattes saddle pads and lambskin girths. He also rides in MDC Ultimate Stirrups and favours Saratoga bandages. |
