Lizzie & the Eventing NZ YR team triumph in Aus...

One of our favourite young eventing riders Lizzie Brown & her lovely chestnut gelding Henton Attorney General (Frank to his friends) have taken out 1st place at the Trans-Tasman Young Rider eventing championships at Camperdown in Australia. 

Even after the Australian team ended day one in the lead, the entire NZ young rider team put in stunning cross country and SJ performances to take five out of the overall top six placings.

The NZ team then pressed forward with an emphatic display of jumping with all NZ team members jumping clear rounds.

Lizzie reported to us that she is thrilled with the result.  This popular young Waikato rider has received huge support from back home and we're all super proud of this amazing result.  Big ups for this convincing win also go to top-notch Kiwi groom Jessica Fieldes who travelled from Auckland to support Lizzie and the team in Camperdown.  And to Eric Duvander as coach, and to Jean Johnstone for ensuring overall smooth operations for the team in her role as Chef d'Equip.

Well done to the entire NZ team for their fantastic performance!
