I bought these clippers because they are small , light , quiet and rechargeable .I thought that if they were too light / not grunty enough , I could just use them for trimming ( tail mostly ) .I can`t believe how good they are . My horse has the best clip ever , with zero clip lines , and in record time . Much easier than my old chunky clippers - for my arthritic hands - with no hand pain after .The blades DO heat up quite quickly , but this I easily dealt with by frequently spraying with a blade ice product then oiling as recommended . Having 2 batteries is ideal - I charge one while using the other , and can change them over quickly .I used to have to clip my horse in stages over 3 days !!! My Opal full body clip took 90 mins .I definitely recommend these clippers.
