Hairy Pony Essential Oil Coat Conditioner
Unlike many grooming sprays that rely on synthetic silicone for a quick-fix shine, our formula is completely silicone-free. That means no slippery residue, no greasy build-up, and no risk of your saddle slipping. It absorbs straight into the coat and skin, offering deep, lasting nourishment — safe for use all over the body, including under the saddle.
We’ve also left out mineral-based oils, which can coat the hair without truly hydrating it and often lead to dryness. Instead, our Jojoba and Coconut oils are naturally rich, with a small molecular structure that allows them to penetrate deep into the hair follicle — locking in moisture and improving coat health from the inside out. The shine you’ll see is the real deal: naturally built, not artificially created.
Infused with pure Rose Geranium, Ylang Ylang, and Cedarwood Atlas essential oils, this blend soothes dry, irritated skin and leaves a soft, earthy scent.
- Daily grooming to boost shine and hydration
- Removing sweat and hydrating after riding (especially in cooler weather)
- Rehydrating clipped or dry coats
- A quick ‘no rinse’ coat care solution
Daily Grooming Spray (or Pre-Mixed refill):
Add 50–100ml of concentrate to a 1L spray bottle of water. Shake well before each use to combine. Spray directly onto the coat during grooming or to wipe off sweat post-exercise.
Hot Oil Treatment (great for after clipping or washing):
Mix 100ml of oil with 1L of warm water in a bucket. Sponge over the coat after hosing or washing.
No need to rinse.
Use a 1:10 oil-to-water ratio.
Add to Shampoo (for a hydrating wash): When washing add a splash of oil to your soapy bucket or drizzle on brush/sponge alongside shampoo. Massage into coat and rinse.
